Adam Hinterlang
My work runs the gamut between drawings on paper, digital print, and animation. All of my work is rooted in drawing and explores various various modalities, ideas, and discourses surrounding the mark. My recent work is comprised of an ongoing study of an idea of a distinctly digital mark and an over-arching interest in aesthetic experience and viewer engagement. I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in October of 1975.
Relationship to P2
I met Patrick during the late summer of 2005. I knew him, and will always remember him, for his generosity, patience, and jovial demeanor. I learned a great deal from him and had a lot of fun with him. When I met him, he felt like someone I'd known for far longer than the short time that we actually knew each other. He was a good person and news of his death filled me with both anger and sadness. It was devastating. But I'll always remember the man that wanted to watch the sun set with the world and reminded me that a good laugh under any circumstance always made things a little better.
