Carolyn Belefski
Carolyn Belefski creates original comics, designs, and illustrations through her self-motivated work at Curls Studio. She is employed as a designer at Bremmer & Goris Communications, a design firm specializing in branding and communications in the Washington, DC area. With her career as a designer, Carolyn helps promote the value of smart design by volunteering a lot of her free time as an AIGA DC Board Member.
In 2004, Carolyn graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA degree in Communication Arts and Design. She has exhibited at Small Press Expo, Baltimore Comic-Con, DC Counter Culture Festival, and Big Art Show. Her illustrations have been published in USA WEEKEND Magazine, Virginia Living, The Commonwealth Times, The Connection, Heritage Forum, and Gentle Graffiti, among other publications.
Relationship to P2
Patrick taught my first web design class. He knew a lot about technology and media. He always gave me encouragement for my comic strip, Curls. His art will live on in the world.
