I met Patrick while living in Richmond. Not only was he the brother of one of my best friends, he was also the older, kinder cool guy who helped me out and made life just a bit funnier and more exciting. I lived with him in Red Zero for a couple of months, and he always made sure I had some food to eat or was willing to trade up some various crap or a ride somewhere for rent and bills. He had a way at looking at life that was infectious, and he truly made me want to live each day as though it might be my last.
