Xin Song
Xin Song began her study of the traditional arts of paper cutting in the rapidly metamorphosing metropolis of Beijing in the late eighties. Her practice and travels took her to the desolation of rural China. Transplanted to produce the timeless, enigmatic pictures of her Beijing period, her evocative images now flower in Manhattan.
